The World Above
Deep in the forest, on the edge of the jungle east of the remains of Rakanaton village, lies a vestige of ages past. The Ziggurat, though old and torn appart, stands tall amidst the trees. From outside, it is clear that something fell at high velocity on the old monument as a huge hole goes right throught the summit to the ground under. From the ground, metal rubbles can be found along with what seems to be parts of robots. It ressembles greatly the Caves of Steel, though, whatever it is that fell, the landing was a lot harder here. Because of the impact, the pyramid is slanted, allowing wild beasts and courgeous adventurers to enter by the impact point.
The inside is as much torn appart as the outside. Most floors are near impossible to access, and even if they were, they probably would crumble under the weight. Many creature, most likely nocturnals, found refuge in this pyramid. On the first floor, different drawings and carvings adorn the walls. They depict the stars, the sun, but more particuliarily the moon. The moon is often represented as a humaoid entity while the other remains depictions of the heavenly bodies themselves. Though it is highly uncertain, these paintings, the whole Ziggurat, might predate even the Retribution.
