The World Above
During certain scenes, the Storyteller may want to focus on the actions characters are taking. In order to encourage a faster pace and awesome stunts while leaving aside certain mechanical considerations, he may declare a cinematic scene. During such a scene, the following effects apply to every character engaged in the action :
- All extra dices obtained from stunts are doubled. This does not double other rewards obtained from stunting.
- All scene long Charms a character possesses are considered activated at no cost to the character.
- If the player of any character (including the ST) break the flow of the scene by thinking about what their character should do for too long or by counting dices for an extended period of time, the character is considered to have failed his action because of his hesitation, whatever it was, and the roll is considered a double botch (two 1’s and no successes). The next character on the tick wheel may then play his turn.
